How to setup ButtKicker Gamer ProUpdated a year ago

In this guide we will go over how to setup the ButtKicker Gamer Pro. We also have a video version of this guide located here.

Start by taking the amplifier out of the box as we will start with connections.

  1. First plug in the power cable to the back of the amplifier.
  2. Next connect either the USB or the 3.5 to RCA cable from the amp to the PC. (only 1 is used
  3. After this we want to connect the quick release cable. The banana clip side of the cable will go into the back of the amplifier using the red and black terminals.
  4. You will then connect the quick release side of that cable to the transducer. This will be conjoining the 2 sides of the cable with prongs.
  5. Lastly the Gamer Pro requires you to connect the quick release cable to the transducer. You will take the bare wire end of the cable and connect it to the 2 posts on the transducer. Push them down and insert the cable.

One thing to note with the Gamer Pro is that we want to use the strain relief. This is the rubber slit between the 2 posts on the transducer. Run the cable up through the bottom of the slit then into the posts.

This would then finish the setup for connections to the ButtKicker amplifier. After this or at any point during this you can connect the Pro transducer to your rig or chair.

This will be different from rig to rig but we want to find a post or mount 1.77" or less to connect to with the clamp.

The next step would be to setup HaptiConnect. You can use our guide to help with that setup.
